Biography

Jack Wood specializes in singing songs from the Great American Songbook. He has performed and recorded with some of the finest musicians in the LA area, including some members of Doc Severinson’s Tonight Show Band. Jack has sung in popular Jazz clubs in Southern California, Las Vegas, and Salt Lake City, appearing as a guest artist at their Salt Lake City Jazz Festival. He has been featured at Orange Coast College, where he performed with Frank Sinatra’s rhythm section doing Mr. Sinatra’s music. He released his first album “Baby, Baby All The Time” on the Cexton Record Label with a quote from Bobby Troup back in 1994. Jack most recently was the featured vocalist at a sold-out concert at Brigham Young University where he was invited by Vincent Falcone, former Music Director for Frank Sinatra, to sing many of his hit songs with a sixty-six piece orchestra. (They received three standing ovations and performed two encores.)
