SLC Jazz Festival and JAM to Partner with the Utah Cultural Trust on ’19 Festival

Since 2001, hundreds of artists have graced the festival stages, hundreds of volunteers have worked around the clock and tens of thousands of passionate jazz fans have packed venues to hear the best of America’s music. For each of the last 19 years, Jazz Arts of the Mountainwest (JAM) has been the main presenting organization and through all the ups and downs of producing a nationally recognized festival, JAM’s mission to deliver high-quality live performances and music education to the community has never changed.

For 2019, JAM is proud to announce a joint partnership with the Utah Cultural Trust, as well as long-time jazz presenters, Excellence in the Community and Jazz SLC, to bring a newly named festival to Salt Lake City.

The Utah Jazz & Roots Festival will be held on September 5th, 6th and 7th at the Gallivan Center. We are excited to announce that this year’s festival will be completely FREE to the public (VIP tickets are available) thanks to the generous funding of the Salt Lake business community and local government.

For more information, please see our official press release.
